The Three Graces

This past week has been an exciting week in every way. In the negative sense because I've been trying to combine many extra duties with the completion of three jobs I wanted to ship this past weekend. In the positive sense because LPECADMS has made three shipments about which I was thrilled.
At the moment I can not advance much, I can only include photos with the packing before going to the post office. Between now and tomorrow I hope certified packages arrive at their destination.
As soon as interested people have the packages I upload pictures of the contents to unveil this mystery on the web.

Interlude

It's been a month since my last entry and I have not uploaded anything new because I'm working on new LPECADMS' items that soon-hopefully soon- will make an appearance in this blog. In the meantime and for the wait will not seem more endless and barren as a Castilian's field lied fallow I decided to liven up it with other crafts that in this case it's not for sale.

The occasion was the celebration (I always liked this word, so pompous, so elegant that comes dressed in morning coat) of the first full year without smoking for The Little Ant [alias Pelotillo].
I thought that after his so much effort and will, stressed by him it was necessary to emphasize the first year, that in these cases is often especially hard as you have to adapt to your life by eliminating entrenched routines as far as smoking is concerned.
He passed the test like a champ so I had to celebrate in a special way to enhance the achievements.

The best way that I thought was a handmade gift, with message and it would also not be limited to a card with a beautiful and heartfelt words. I visited Etsy, a portal that I have fallen in love hopelessly and I usually visit once in a while. It's a website where craftsmen and craftswomen from around the world can create their store and sell their products. It is wonderful to see so well made and original products by people who work to the best of itself. And in my case is an infallible resource to find objects that I have not seen in any store, on the other hand, at a reasonable price.

Pacing by the web-I do not get commission, I promise-, I found what is called locket. The equivalent term in Spanish is medallion or reliquary but here it usually means something else for these meanings.
I thought it was great because I could design a foldout tailor-made with the style and the message I wanted to convey him, I put it in the locket and it stay beautiful (I am very visual and I see and I remember better the things that catch the eye). It's an object that women tend to use more but the idea was that he had it, not so much to use it for wearing. Here it's where the object recover the term reliquary because it should remind him of something very important and valuable of himself.

The person behind the business responsible for manufacturing the locket and other products to take into account was lovely and she helped me all the time dealing with my endless questions with patience and kindness. I was lucky because the item arrived just in time, although the latter was a bit casual because I had already done the request a little late for my date. This made sure everything was perfect.

The end result was this:
